    Durham, Alfred M., president of the Tongan Mission from 1895 to 1896, was born Sept. 23, 1873, in Parowan Utah, a son of Thomas Durham and Caroline Mortensen. He was baptized Sept. 23, 1880, set apart Feb. 27, 1893, for a mission to Tonga, and returned home in 1896.
