In the 1830 United States Census, Alexander Seaver was a head of household residing in Stowe town, Washington County, Vermont. The household included one free white male under age 5, one free white male aged 5 to 10, one free white male aged 10 to 15, one free white male aged 30 to 40, one free white male under age 5, two free white females aged 5 to 10, and one free white female aged 30 to 40 (1830 United States Census, Washington County, Vermont, Population Schedule, Stowe, Page 388, FHL Microfilm 0,027,449).

In the 1850 US census, the Alexander Seaver family resided in Stowe, Lamoille County, Vermont.
