Facts and Events
In the 1840 United States census, Leomard Sever was a head of household in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. The household included one free white male aged 20 to 30, one free white male aged 50 to 60, and one free white female aged 40 to 50 (1840 United States Census, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Population Schedule, Lowell, Page 050, FHL Microfilm 0,014,678). An extensive search was conducted on www.ancestry.com in the 1850 US census, but this family was not found in a given name plus surname search, a given name search for both Leonard and Sophia in VT and MA, and in a wild card surname plus birthplace and age search. In the 1860 US Census, Leonard Seaver (age 68, pumpmaker, born MA) resided in Concord, Middlesex County, MA in the household of Lowell Fay (age 42, born VT) and Caroline Fay (age 41, born VT).
