!SOURCE: Records of Lucile Claridge. PROBLEM: Lucile Claridge gave his birth as 2 Jun 1799 in Hadley, Saratoga, NY but I show a different set of dates from extracted records of Scotland. This family is so messed up with what I have found that I am going to create a whole new family for them with the names and dates as I know them. I am very suspicious of the data that the family gave me on this family. NOTE: Also on this list was his son David, an infant, but no other family members. But, who is David?? CENSUS: 1845 - (New York State) In Hadley, Saratoga, NY - 3-2-1-2-0. Owned real estate valued at $500. (Also in Hadley in 55, 65, and 75. 1850 - In Hadley, Saratoga, NY - Ancestry Image 4 of 24. In the home were Alexander Canaday 51 Scot, Elizabeth 51 NY, Daniel 26 NY, Charles 23 NY and July 22 NY. NOTE: Last name as Canaday. 1860 - In Hadley, Saratoga, NY - Ancestry Image 6 of 26, In the home were Alexander Kenedy 62 Scot, Elisabeth 61 NY, Robert Jarvis (son-in-law) 29 Scot, and Julia Jarvis 30 NY. OCCUPATION: Listed as Farmer on the 1850 and 1860 census. RELIGION: Member of Methodist Episcopal Church in Stoney Creek, in 1855. (Smith - History of Warren Co, NY - 1885, p. 605.)
