Albin is the twin of Joseph. Albin F. Ebin ended up leaving the family. Albin August Ebin left school in the 8th grade and went to work to support the family. Albin F. Ebin was a very strict German. The children were not allowed to talk at the supper table during meals. Once one of the boys was going to ask for something to be passed and and Albin F. had a fork in his hand and pointed at the boy to tell him not to speak and the fork slipped out of his hand and stuck in the boys chest by accident. (Stories about the Ebins from Suzan and Jeane Ebin.) From the Canton Repository March 6, 2007: "100 YEARS AGO A quartet of Frank Rowe, R. Efinger, J. Reifsnyder and A. Ebin entertained about 100 guests of the South End Sporting Club at Efinger's Hall on Connor Street SE. " |
