Albertha Louisa Florence Edgcumbe (14mar1861, d. 25mar1941) married 10oct1891 Sir Henry Yarde Buller Lopes (24mar1859-1938).(freepages, worldroots). Albertha was daughter of William Henry, 4th Earl of Mt. Edgcumbe, who was son of Caroline Augusta Fielding, half sister of William Henry Fox Talbot, pioneer photographer (Plantagenet Roll). Henry Yarde “Butter” Lopes was born 2nd qtr 1859 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon (bmd). Henry Yarde B. Lopes married Albertha Louisa F. Edgcombe 4th qtr 1891 at St. Germans, Cornwall (bmd). Latter Day Saints: Henry Yarde Buller Lopes, b. 24mar1859, Yealmpton, Devon, died there 14apr1938, married there 10oct1891 Albertha Louisa Florence Edgcumbe (b. 14mar1861 (according to 1871 census in London), d. 25mar1941 Yealmpton). Their son, Massey, b. 4oct1903 Portugal, d. 30jun1992 Yealmpton. In 1881 Hy. Y. P. Lopes (b. 1859 Manston, Devon), student at Ball. Coll., Oxford Univ. was with parents, Sir Massey (1819 London), Bart MP, JP Devon, and Lady Lopes (1827 Manston) at Kensington (census). Manston is probably misreading of Maristow, near Plymouth.
