From Alberta's son's Journal, Aug 19, 2005

We went to Reid Ranch [for our Neilson Family Reunion] on Friday through Sunday. It was a great time. We had 20 from Alberta’s family. We did tee shirts to show what family we were from. Someone who didn’t know I was an only kid said, “That Alberta must have had a lot of kids…I see her tee shirts everywhere.” I’m sure mom was happy to see were had a good turnout.

Alberta helped the family stay financially alive, seven members.
