  10. "Albert Smith passed away Wednesday, December 24, 1913, at his home, No.1305 Tweed Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, after a lingeringillness. Mr. Smith had been in poor held for the past year, and wasconfined to his bed for 13 weeks before his death.
    Deceased was born in Steuben County, Indiana, and at the time of hisdeath was 65 years old. He had been a resident of the Soo for the past11 years, with the exception of a short. When he was employed inOntario on the Algoma Central. He leaves to mourn his death a wife andtwo stepchildren, Mrs. Vera Owen of Traverse City, and Mrs. C. A.Brennan, of Sault Ste. Marie; his mother, two brothers, Alonso, ofLawson, Oklahoma; and Clark, of Idaho; a sister, Mrs. F. J. Lane, and ahalf brother, Jerome Moore, of St. Joseph, Missouri. The funeral washeld Friday from the home, Rev. Thomas R. Easterday officiating. Mrs.J. J. Ryan and Mr. J. H. Newhouse saying at the service. The intermentwas made at Pine Grove Cemetery."
