A. Marion Houghton Hamilton Advocate Albert Marion Houghton, 92, died August 8, 2004 at The Village in Cameron. Born April 29, 1912, to Albert and Linnie Houghton, he was a longtime resident of Kingston where he owned a feed sotre, tractor and implement business and farmed in the area. He was presiding judge on the Caldwell County Court, president of the nine county Green Hills Planning Commission, and spent considerable time volunteering, planning and promoting the growth and economic development of northwest Missouri. He was married to Marguerite Otto on January 12, 1935. She preceded him in death in 1981. Survivors: daughters, Patricia Gastineau, Atlanta, GA and Connie Duffy, Southboro, MA; son-Al Houghton, Yorba Linda, CA; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother-Maurice Houghton; two sisters-Martha Rains, Kingston, Louise Zook, Lawrence, KS. Funeral service was held Wednesday, August 11, at the Kingston Church of the Nazarene, Kingston. Interment: Kingst Cemetary. Arrangements: Bram Funeral.
