2002 - Obituary: Weyburn Review, May 2002: It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Albert Farr on Monday, May 13, 2002 in the Bengough Nursing Home at the age of 78 years. Born November 9, 1923 on the family farm in Ogema. Predeceased by his father Earl, mother Annie, and two brothers Roy and Wes. He is survived by one sister Elsie Fournier, Moose Jaw and one brother Fred in Bengough Nursing Home; two sisters-in-law, Clara of Ogema and Margaret of Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bert enjoyed his life on the family farm and playing his records and tapes. After his brother Wes passed away, the farm was sold and he moved into Ogema. Once he was not able to continue to be on his own because of a long standing disability he has spent the last few years at the Bengough Nursing Home being very well looked after there by the nurses and staff. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will follow at a later date. Donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Abilities Council or charity of your choice.
