1827, Aug 11, Will of "Nancy" Agnes (Erwin) Armstrong wife of John Armstrong
Will Book 4, Page 120.
Virginia Pendleton County to witt. Personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the said county: Joseph Hiner and George Armstrong who being sworn saith that on the 8th ???? at the house of Thomas Armstrong, where she had resided for many years previous, and during her last illness. Mrs Nancy Armstrong informed them an apparent intention that they should take notice thereof, that it was her desire that her property should be equally divided between her two sons. Thomas and Samuel. Given under my hand this 11th August 1827. Th. Jones.
At a court held for Pendleton county of 6th day of November 1828. This noncupative will of Nancy Armstrong deceased was returned to Court and ordered Recorded.
