 In the 1920 census for Floyd, Floyd Co., Iowa, A. B. Shankland is 32 born Illinois (father Kentucky, mother Illinois) farmer; wife Caroline M. is 32 born (Illinois?) (parents Illinois); and son (Burrell?) is 5 born Iowa. {ed 114, sh 8a, p. 89}
 Adrian is listed in the 1930 census in Floyd as well.
 In the Iowa State Census, there are listings for Adrian Shankland, wife Caroline Arington Shankland and son Burrell E. in Floyd Co. in 1915 and 1925.
