There is a discrepancy on Adolph's death date. The SS Death Index lists his death as April 1981 in Luling, Caldwell County, with the same birthdate as shown by Dr. Russell Strandtmann. The Texas Death Index shows an Adolph Schaefer who died Nov 8, 1981 in Comal County. Dr. Stradtmann says he died in 1983 and lived in Luling most of his life. The death certificates would need to be examined.
