Adolph & his sister Elisa Bittorf were the first of the family to come tothe U.S. in 1882. Adolph's first wife was Hanna T. (maiden nameunknown). She died in Sept 23 1887 in Jacksonport, Door County,Wisconsin. She was born May 15, 1855 in Germany. She is buried at theZion Lutheran Church cemetery. Adolf married Hattie Nauman in 1891.

Adolph Adam Dietrich died at his home in Jacksonport, Door County, Wi. onAugust 1, 1943. from a stroke he suffered the day before, he had twominor strokes previously. He was born in Saxen-Weimar, Eissenach,Germany, a son of Conrad and Elizabeth Dietrich. He came to this countrywith his father in 1887 and settled in Jacksonport, Door County, Wi,clearing a farm and helping build the church. The funeral services whereheld at the home of his daughter Mrs. Alfred Flock.
