Per Carolyn Davison Research: Addie died suddenly in Atlamont Springs. She had been living in a nursing home since she had fallen and had broken her hips. Previously, she had lived with her daughter, Irene. They had been in separable most of Irene's adult life.

Her funeral was held at the Myers Funeral Home, Burkholder Chapel, in Seymour IN. The reverand Gary Morning from the Brownstown Christian Church preached her funeral. Her daughter Irene and her grandson Sam along with his wife were in attendance. She was laid to rest along side her husband Foister Davidson in Brownstown, IN in Fairview Cemetery. They share a stone.
