Died Oct. 14, 1888. Mrs. Alleline Spencer Tyler. Mrs. Tyler had gone to spend the day at the residence of Mr. Wm. Geiseking, near her home, and was taken while there with a congestive chill and expired before she could be removed. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church at Eel River, at 2 o'clock, Oct. 16th. Deceased was the Mother of J. S. Tyler of this city, (Fort Wayne) and was born in 1809, in the state of Maine, New Bangor. In 1827 she was married to Samuel Tyler. She was the Mother of twelve children, six of whom survive her, four sons and two daughters. She was a loving wife and mother, and an exemplary Christian, loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a member of the Christian church at the time of her marriage and continued a communicant until 1859, when she united with the Baptist church at Eel River, of which she was a member at the time of her death.
