Research Notes

  • Adaline was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hughes.
  • She married William Pitman after her returned from the war and they lived in Hagerstown. There were no known children.
  • After her husband's death in 1911, she moved in with her brother Charles and sister Jennie (see 1920 and 1930 census) who also lived in Hagerstown.
  • She died sometime after 1930 and is likely buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Hagerstown with her husband.
