Abram Martin Plumley went to Washington, DC, following his brothers but he returned home to New Jersey and became a farmer. In 1890, after the death of his mother, he bought his sibling's interest in the homeplace on Ridge Road near Kingston, NJ and stayed there the rest of his life.
