Abraham Walker is often confused with two other, unrelated Abraham Walkers. He is most commonly confused with Abraham Walker of Williamson County, Tennessee. However, census records indicate that the Williamson County Abraham lived his entire life in Tennessee, never residing in Alabama. The parents of the Abraham Walker in this page are not John Walker and Ann Barnett but Thomas Walker and Jane Gaston as indicated on probate records in Chester, South Carolina.[1][2]. Furthermore, the John Walker who married Ann Barnett is more likely to be part of Walker YDNA Group 33, while the Abraham Walker in this page matches Walker YDNA group 37[3]. He is related to John Walker (Another John) and Elizabeth Boyd who lived just north of the South Carolina border. He can be found in Chester, South Carolina in the 1800 and 1810 Federal Census[4][5]. In 1830 he can be found in Clarke, Alabama.[6]
