Disambiguation

The surname is variously spelled: LeFever, LeFevre, LaFavor, LaFavour

The Abrham LeFever who settled in Washington County, c 1785, is sometimes confused with his father Abraham Sr, who settled in Augusta County at an unknown date.

Abraham Sr. apparently owned the property acquired in Washington County, but Abraham Jr. lived on it, until about 1791

Abraham Jr, also had a son named Abraham

Wife of Abraham

Several Ancestry Member Trees claim that the wife of Abraham Lefever was Catherine Zink (1758-1824), but since she was born on 27 March 1758, this Catherine would have been only 14 years old when her oldest child was born, making this problematic. Additional research and sources are needed.
