Ancestral File in the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. In the 1830 Census of Wayne Township, Butler County, Ohio Abraham Ferree Graft was the son of George and Mary (Ferree) Graft. Abraham was born in Frederick County, Maryland on 5 October 1774, and he died in Butler County, Ohio on 15 April 1834. On 8 February 1798 at Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky, Abraham Ferree Graft married Eunice Pottinger, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Willett) Pottinger, who was born 4 June 1775. George's family removed to Ohio in about 1800, and accompanied by John Withrow, settled near the village of Seven Mile, where he entered a tract of land from the Government. Clearing it of its heavy timber growth, he gave his attention to its cultivation, and in time became the owner of a good farm, Abraham wrote his name Graft and he and wife Eunice (Pottinger) Graft had 10 children. The Graft bible has Eunice Pottinger's date of birth as 4 June 1775. References
