George Grove Jr.

He came to Ohio in 1806 with or soon after Samuel and Dorothy (Grove) Shoup. (Dorothy is his sister).

He was a wealthy and prominent citizen of Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

He and his wife were two of the seven signers of the Articles of Incorporation for the first Episcopal church in Dayton in 1817.
