In 1870 she and her husband were living with her parents. According to probate they lived with her father for several years before his death in 1884 in Stark Co. In the probate papers dated June 1885 her residence was unknown. She was living in New York City when her sister, Caroline, died in 1905. In 1920, 1925, 1930 and 1940, she was living with her daughter and her family in Yonkers, Westchester, New York and in Newburgh, Orange, New York.

In 1910 she had given birth to three children and two were alive. (There were four born, Lottie had died and there is no further information about Willie).

MRS. ABBIE MACAULEY

   Mrs. Abbie Macauley, widow of John K. Macauley, died in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Batterton, of the Cochecton Turnpike, on Thursday evening (June 7, 1945) after a long illness.
   Funeral arrangements in charge of David J. Perrott & Son are incomplete.

MRS. MACAULEY'S RITES

 The funeral of Mrs. Abbie Macauley, who died in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Betterton, on Cochecton Turnpike, on Thursday will be held in the Seeholtz Memorial, 401 Third St. N.W., Canton, Ohio, on Wednesday morning at 10, with the Rev. R.W. Blemker, pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church of Canton, officiating.  Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton, by David J. Perrott & Son.
   Mrs. Macauley was born in Ohio and had lived in Newburgh for 16 years.  Besides Mrs. Betterton, a grandchild survives.

MRS. JOHN K. MACAULEY

  The body of Mrs. Addie Macauley, widow of John K. Macauley, a Canton resident until 16 years ago when she went to Newburg N.Y., to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. A.L. Batterton, will arrive here Tuesday night and will be taken to the Seeshoultz Memorial.
  Funeral rites at the memorial will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in charge of Rev. R.W. Blemker.   Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.  Mrs. Macauley died Friday afternoon in the Batterton home.
