MRS. CAROLINE STROUSE SUCCUMBED TO AN ATTACK OF PNEUMONIA

Was Seventy One Years of Age. Spent Greater portion of Her Life at Cornersburg.

Mrs. Caroline Strouse, wife of J. D. Strouse, and mother of Mrs. H.E. Blott died this morning at 5 o'clock at her late resident, Oak Hill and St. Louis avenue, after an illness of little over a week from pneumonia.
Mrs. Strouse was 71 years of age. When it was known a week ago last Thursday that she had been attacked by pneumonia, little hope was entertained for her recovery owing to her advanced age and failing health. From the commencement of her last illness she sank rapidly until the end.
Mrs. Strouse was born at new Portage, Summit county, Ohio, but passed the greater part of her life with her family at Cornersburg. She moved to this city with her husband about two years ago. She leaves besides her husband the following children: Mrs. F.T. Corll of Michigan, Mrs. Dr. Blott and Miss Anna Strouse. Mrs. Corll arrived in the city this morning at the home of her mother a few minutes after she had passed away.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence with interment at Belmonth Park cemetery.
