  Magdelena was born 1804-6 in Pennsylvania.  Her given name has also appeared as Babb and Polly. In their Family Bible, marriage record and cemetery record her name is Magdelena and also Marie/Maria.  
  She may have been a widow when she married Daniel. She was 28 years old and her surname in the marriage record and in the Family Bible are very different. In 1850 a Jacob Leverspayer, age 21, is living with them.  Is he a son from a previous marriage or a relative to her?  He is not with the family in 1840.
  In their marriage record her last name is clearly Lifelsperger.   The surname in the Family Bible is a short name.  Two translators have the first letter as "E".  One has it as "B" but he notes that the "B" is not written the same as in 'Bury".  Two translators have the ending as 'ubl'.  One has it 'nlb'.  In Esther Hamilton's news article about Daniel the name of his wife is Babb Leisenberger.  In her daughter Sophia's death record her last name is Babb  The informant was ggrandaughter Florence Fulmer who had possession of the Family Bible.
  She married Daniel Bury on 5 May 1933 in Springfield Lake, Portage County, Ohio, and they had four daughters, Caroline, Lovina, Sophia and Abbie.
  She died from consumption on 16 Dec 1878 in Canton Township, Stark County Ohio, and is buried in West Lawn Cemetery with her husband and daughter, Sophia.

SUDDEN DEATH -

   Mrs. Daniel Burry died quite suddenly at her husband's residence near the paper mill, last evening, after an illness of a few days, at the advanced age of seventy-three years.  Her funeral will take place on Friday, and Rev. P. Herbruck, of the German Reform Church, will conduct the services.
