    George W. Cooper vs. David Best and Shelton McKinney F. 19 Sept. 1850.
    Best sold land part in Estill Co., part in Clark Co. Land was at one time C. Allen's. He sold to Best. Best is non-resident. 2 0 acres of land was claimed by Shelton McKinney under the Graham's patent.

    Dep. taken of Madison Ware at the store house of B. Broughton in Powell Co., 23 Aug. 1853. Ware, in 1850, was a surveyor hired by Hiram B. Rankin, He surveyed the South and Taylor survey of 10,000 acres. He was to find the corner of the Richard Graham land. McKinney owned a farm at Spout Springs.
    Boundary was: Graham's line, Samuel Everman line, cow gap, George Cooper's line, Red River, Benjamin Locksman to Arvine's Ford.

    Dep. of Samuel Hall - My father, John Hall, bought land from Chambers. I carried chain in survey. I sold the land for my father to William Townsend. Father had this land for 30-35 years. I had lived on the land 50 years. I built house for Horn on Chambers property.

    Dep. of Henry Baily - Boarded with Aaron Horn. He lived where Shelton McKinney does now. Widow Powell lived on north where Cooper claims now. Cooper made sugar and the sugar trees were on him.

    Dep. of Thomas Powell - I have known land 51 years. The clearing at one time went to Filty Fritz, the father of John. They live where Cooper now lives Fritz's ford had been the re 150-200 years.

    Dep. of Thomas Curtis: William Curtis: William M. Abney (son-in-law of George Cooper): A. D. Campbell:(heirs of Richard Graham are George Graham, Andrew Rainey and Katherian Rainey.): (Land deed went from Chambers to Townsend to Horn.): Curtis Mastin: Madison Burger (Graham sold to Eubank to Fritz had brought at sheriff sale. First place settled Chambers to Townsend, Horn and Thomas and Shelton McKinney).

    Dep of Albert Eaton of Davis Co., Iowa. Raborn Banner(?) and D.E.R. Claiborn Barnett(?) had known the land since 1818. William Townsend had lived on the land 1818 until he sold to Horn in 1818.

    Dep. of James S. Horn of Iowa. (Cooper had gotten the land from his father in the Fritz tract.) Patent Warrant to Richard Graham #14441 to 14453. Total of 33,815 dated 1785.

    Dep of Benjamin Baker. William Townsend and wife of Montgomery Co. sold to Aaron Horn.
