Later moved south, reportedly to Chattanooga, Tenn., and later to Madison Co., Ala. (Huntsville). "History of Darke Co., O.“ by Beers, p.392, reports that in Mississinewa Twp., "a saw mill was put up in the southwestern part of the town of Rose Hill by A.R. Crumrine. The mill burned down in 1868." They purchased and sold land in Darke Co., O..; the last recorded sale being 2 May 1874. Roy Jones, a grandson, says Aaron a Civil War veteran of the Union Army.
