Image Information
This photograph was taken at the first known reunion of younger children of Emerson B. Green & Emma F. Hetzler, after their deaths, probably around 1906. Emma died within months of Hugh Green being born and he was adopted by the Boop family in Lima. Twin daughters, Hazel and Mabel, were placed in the Allen County Ohio Children's Home. About 3 years later they went to live with foster parents, William and Mary L. Herring in Spencerville. This photo includes Hugh and the twins, as well as their older sister, Edith "Grace," & her husband, Carl Dill, Mr. Mrs. Herring and Mr. & Mrs. Boop. Cleo Green, born between the twins' birth and Hugh's birth, is not included in this reunion. She is also not in the Green household in 1900. Most likely she was living with a family relative but her whereabouts during this time remain unknown to rc. File historyLegend: (cur) = this is the current file, (del) = delete
