Family talk:John Collins and Joan Unknown (1)

Messed up [1 February 2011]

I was attracted to this page because I was looking for the John Collins and wife Joane who had children in Gloucester, MA, in the 1640's and this says this couple married in 1640.

However it also says the husband died in 1594 in England.

Which half of this data is correct? This is not some merge mess, it was loaded this way, with all these self-inconsistencies.

This page is not correct, and is impossible to use as it stands. If you want the father, the marriage and wife are wrong, and if you want the marriage, the husband is wrong. One or the other must go. I know need to do a little research, follow some links, and make sure I am not creating a bigger mess, but suspect I will end up detaching the John Collins who clearly lived too early, and then add the child/children to this page and let somebody add the correct John Collins later. --Jrich 09:18, 1 February 2011 (EST)
