NOTE: Dates of births of children based on Mary Lovering Holman's estimates in Stevens-Miller with some adjustments based on the birth dates of the youngest known children of Mary, Sarah and Ruth. Mrs. Holman stated that all eight of the children of this marriage were born at Hartford; however, record evidence does not exist to indicate that the elder William Holton was in Hartford prior to 1646.
