His farm was noted for having on it the only grove of trees and spring of water for many miles. He d. in 1858 while on a visit at the old Duckett homestead in Prince George's County. A gd. son, Harry Enoch, now lives in Washington, D.C., where he m. a daughter of the late Phillip Dorsey Carr, of Anne Arundel County.
