    Hertfordshire Archives' index specifies that William was of Shillington, Bedfordshire, and Susannah of Ickleford, but this information is no longer obviously legible - it would have been on the part of the page most badly damaged. Nor does the information appear to have come from the Bishop's Transcripts, which do survive for 1775 but only listed the baptisms and burials, not the marriages.
