William Coleman married as his second wife, in 1662 in Gloucester, MA, his second wife, Bridget Row, widow of John Row.

This is obviously a very confused and unreliable account of the origins of the William Coleman whose descendants lived in New York. The William Coleman who married Bridget Rowe in 1662 continued to live in Gloucester until his death. He is obviously not the same William Coleman who was living (and taxed) as a "wealthy farmer" in Southold, Suffolk, New York in 1675.
