Marjorie (Tot) moved to St. Augustine with her daughter after World War II. A war widow, St. Augustine was a pleasant change from the atmosphere in Tennessee. Bill was a widower. His first wife died of cancer. They married in April 1950 and moved into Tot's house on Magnolia Avenue.
