QUINCY – Mrs. Catherine (Cassie) Bender Kelsey, 90, died Friday in Coldwater following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Rawson funeral home Sunday afternoon, at 2 o’clock, with Elmer Anderson officiating. Burial will be made at Lakeview cemetery.
She was born July 5, 1863, at Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of Jacob and Melissa (Van Orsdal) Bender. She was married to Watson Kelsey who preceded her in death 20 years ago.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Sisson of Romulus; a niece, Mrs. Cecile Strobel of Detroit; and several other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kelsey had lived almost her entire life in Quincy and vicinity.
