    Vernon John Mayer and Theda Dorothy Robinson.
    They initially were married March 20, 1942 before a Justice of Peace in
    Moscow, Idaho, due to rumors that the WSC ROTC members were about to be
    called to active service. On November 6, 1942 at Sigma Kappa Sorority at
    Washington State College, in Pullman, WA., Theda and Vern were married
    with family members present.
