Family:Unknown Hebert and Unknown (1)

MEMOIRES; vol.VI, p.393. Article tries to establish that the brothers HEBERT were sons of Jacques HEBERT & Marie JUNEAU, of Haye-Descartes in Touraine [France]. They had another son Jacques, of Haye in Touraine, parish of Balesne, who contracted a marriage in Quebec (Reference: Lecomte, 15 Apr 1688) with Francoise CHEVALIER. The contract also shows Marie-Guillemette HEBERT as daughter of Louis HEBERT. This Louis had spent some time in Port Royal, Acadia before settling in Quebec.

Antoine HEBERT, married to Genevieve LEFRANC, and Etienne HEBERT, his brother, were not the sons of Jacques HEBERT and Marie JUNEAU."

Please do not add Marie Juneau as a parent to this family. No evidence has been presented for this.
