Family:Unknown Cutliff and Unknown (1)

These children may belong to Family:John Cutliff and Lucinda Ragan (1) based on the naming of a son John Ray; Lucinda is the granddaughter of John Ray. There is a burial record for a Dr. John H. Cunliff who died in Caddo Parish in 1857. Is he possibly the John who married Lucinda?

1.   John Cutliff and Richard Cutliff married sisters. A working assumption is that they are brothers as they are the only Cutliff families in the area of Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
   In the Succession (Probate) of James Cutliff, Richard is named as his brother. There is an almost 20 year difference in their ages so we should allow for a different relationship, perhaps father or uncle.
