  2. Thomas Philbrick lived in Hampton, NH, and later Kingston, NH. It appears son Jedediah was born in 1700 in Hampton and baptized there. This is the last child recorded in Hampton. Most of the children are recorded in both places, but Thomas, born 1704, only appears in Kingston. This suggests the family moved soon after Jedediah's birth to Kingston, where Thomas was actually born, but the others, who were alive at the time, were recorded in Kingston after the fact, even though actually born in Hampton. There are a couple of discrepancies.

Events in Hampton would appear to include the marriage. The record [1] here] does not actually give the location. The date appears in an article on the Philbrick family in NEHGR, Vol. 38 (1884), p. 281 to a wife identified as "Mehtiable (daughter of --- Dalton)". The lack of a maiden name suggests the date comes not from an actual marriage record but may be recorded as part of a family register, hence the location is uncertain. The maiden name of Ayers appears in the Kingston versions of the birth records only.
