Children

According to one Ancestral File record (AFN 33H3-L97) for Thomas Marlow, he and his wife Jerusha Asbury had eight children:
George Marlow, b. 4 Mar 1797
Tabitha Marlow, b. 1805
Allen Luther Marlar, b. 9 Feb 1806
Thomas Marlow, b. 28 Nov 1806
Reuben Marlow, 25 Nov 1808
William Marlow, b. abt 1815-8
Lucretia Marlow, b. 18 Jan 1817
John M. Marlow, b. 1821

Of those children listed in the Ancestral File, George, Tabitha and Lucretia appear, based on associations and other indirect evidence, to be children of Thomas and Jerusha, while Allen is documented as being their son.

Based on census records for 1810, 1830, and 1840 (Virginia census records for 1800 do not exist, and the 1820 Census for Whitley County, Kentucky includes several pages of crossed out dual entries while apparently missing many other residents), Thomas and Jerusha had the following nine children:
a son (presumably George), b. 1794-1799
a daughter (name unknown), b. 1794-1799
a son (presumably Allen), b. 1800-1809
a daughter (presumably Tabitha), b. 1800-1809
a daughter (name unknown), b. 1800-1809
a daughter (name unknown), b. 1811-1815
a son (possibly William?), b. 1816-1820
a son (name unknown), b. 1816-1820
a daughter (presumably Lucretia), b. 1816-1820

Based on census records, William and Reuben could be their sons, but need documentation. There are also four as yet unnamed and undocumented daughters. The 1840 Census shows a male b. 1821-1825 (John??) living with Thomas and Jerusha, but since he does not appear in the 1830 Census, he could be a grandson rather than a son.
