Errata and Addenda to Dr. Stocking's History and Genealogy of the Knowltons of England and America, p. 13 identifies the second wife as Mary, d/o John and Elizabeth Coy. However, that Mary died in 1699 before the marriage occurred, and no daughter Mary is mentioned in the will of John Coy [Essex Probate 6463]. The identity of this wife has not been discovered.
