A note by William R. Cutter presenting evidence regarding maiden name of Thomas' wife, namely that Thomas Kendall [Sr.] called James Simonds his brother-in-law because they both married sisters, each of the wives being a daughter of Samuel Blodgett [Sr.]. Also, Thomas Kendall, Jr. is called "nephew" by Samuel Blodgett, Jr. in a deed in 1704, further confirming this hypothesis.
