    Ruth Kendall, d/o Thomas Kendall and Ruth Blodgett, b. 17 Feb 1674-5, m. (1) Woburn 9 Nov 1691 John Walker, who d. 1699, m. (2) Woburn 1710 Josiah Wood.
[Note: Ferris' cited sources no not appear to given any evidence to indicate that this is her who married Josiah Wood. They only mention the first marriage. Ferris appears to have made this assumption based solely on matching the name "Ruth Walker". It seems more likely that it was her daughter Ruth, b. 1692, rather than her that married 1710 Josiah Wood. For one thing, it seems unusual that she, with young children, would wait 11 years to remarry. Also, Josiah and Ruth Wood had 9 children, including one (Phebe) as late as 1729, when this Ruth would have been 55, but her daughter would have only been 37. See Walker article which Ferris should have had access to, which shows the widow marrying 1700 Henry Walker, and the daughter marrying Josiah Wood. For comparison, Henry and Ruth Walker only have 5 children, the last one in 1712.]
