Genealogies and Estates of Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1629-1818, Vol. 1, p. 563, says court documents show that Thomas Jones left 5 children when he died 1679. 3 are recorded in Charlestown VRs. Wyman notes two baptisms: Thomas, bp. 11 (8) 1674 and William bp. 7 (8) 1676; which adds one new name, and the fifth is still unknown. However these baptisms seem questionable. Source:Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Records of the First Church in Charlestown, 1632-1789, p. 62, shows the baptism of Thomas on 11 (8) 1674 but the parents are listed as John & Rebecca Jones. On p. 66, the baptism of John on 7 (8) 1677 also to John & Rebecca Jones. It is unusual that some children would be baptized and not others as Wyman's presentation seems to imply, so it appears Wyman misinterpreted the records. Further, given Sarah Crouch's history with the church (see p. vii and viii in the appendix "Church Votes" following p. 168) it is unlikely any of her children were baptized.
