    Case 12947: Thomas Jones 1734.

    Will of Thomas Jones of Holliston .. Husbandman although very weak & under Dangerous Circumstances", dated 12 Mar 1734, proved , names wife Elizabeth; son Aaron Jones; daughter Elizabeth [Martial?]; son Jonathan Jones; son Eli Jones; Grand-son Thomas Jones. Wife and son Aaron to be execuors.
    22 Jul 1734: Bond of Elizabeth Jones of Holliston widow [note: Benjamin Bullard one of sureties], gave bond. Also Bond of Aaron Jones of Holliston Husbandman.
    Dec 1746 [sic]: within written instrument purporting to be the will of Thomas Jones late of Holliston was presented for Probate 22 Jul 1734. Executors named gave bond, will proved and administtr'n there of committed to his widow Elizabeth & Aaron Jones.

    [Note: As his will was not written until 12 Mar 1734, this is clearly wrong about the death date, and the incorrect assertion appears based purely on the assumption that the father died before the son. It was the son Thomas, who is not even named in the will, that d. 1729, and the father d. 1734.]
