Thomas V. Helle, 65, of West Pittsburg, died today at 8:15 a.m. in the Jameson Memorial Hospital following an illness of two days.

He was born in Taylor Township Nov. 17, 1903, to the late Warren and Jennie Woodward Helle. He was married to the former Della Shellenberger, who survives him. They would have been married 44 years in June.

Mr. Helle was a member of West Pittsburg Methodist Church. He was retired form Universal Rundle Corp.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gaylord (Dorothy) Jones of West Pittsburg; two sons, Russell E. of New Middletown, Ohio, and Robert D. of Beaver Falls; a sister, Mrs. Pal (Helen) Dean of New Castle; two brothers, Carl of New Castle and Charles of Orlando, Fla.; and seven grandchildren and a great grandchild. Note: Preceding him in death were his parents. Note: Friends will be received at the Robert A. Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St., tomorrow and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home by the Rev. A. J. Musselman of West Pittsburgh Methodist Church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Della Shelenberger Helle, 73, of Eighth Street, West Pittsburg, died at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 20, 1976, in Elwood City Hospital after a year of illness.

She was born in Rochester, Pa., on July 4, 1903, to the late Alfred and Nannie Shellenberger.

Mrs. Helle was a member of West Pittsburg United Methodist Church, the Women's Society of the church, and played piano at the church for many years. Note: Her husband Thomas V. Helle died in 1969.

She is survivied by two sons, Russell E. of New Middletown, Ohio, and Robert D. of Beaver Falls; a daughter Mrs. Gaylord (Dorothy) Jones of West Pittsburg; a sister Miss Roberta Shellenberger of RD 4, Wilbert Shellenberger of New Castle, and Harold Shellenberger of New Bedford; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Robert A. Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St., from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Musselman, retired minister of the United Methodist church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
