According to the Probate Court records, Elizabeth Gleason, widow of Thomas Gleason, and Joseph Fuller were appointed administrators of the estate of Thomas Gleason deceased, and Elizabeth Gleason was appointed Guardian of her son Isaac, 8 years old. Later (1752) Ezekiel Thompson, was appointed Guardian of Isaac Gleason, a minor 15 years old. This was probably at the time of the mother's death.
