Thomas' obituary reads, "Thomas E. Finan, Sr., 82, of Fort Wayne, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. The Payne, Ohio, native retired in 1972 from International Harvester as foreman, was a member of Knights of Columbus Brandon Council 451 and Navistar Management Club. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Roselyn M.; sons Thomas E., Jr. of Lady Lake, Fla., and James M. of Spencerville; daughters Judith A. Sneary of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Carolyn S. Doehrman of Telluride, Colo.; sisters Margaret Higgins of San Antonio and Mary Kintz, Eleanor Erb and Dorothy Walker, all of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Prayer services at 10 a.m. Thursday at D. O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., precede Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2100 S. Harrison St. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today with an 8:30 p.m. rosary service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
