Family History

A marriage license was issued 22 December 1830 by the court clerk of Harrison co., Ohio, to Samuel Smiley and Jane Carothers. They were married 23 December 1830, in Harrison co., by Rev. Thomas Hanna.[1]

In 1840, Jane and two children were enumerated for the U.S. census.[2]
