Mrs. Dorothy (Fox) Gaines was probably the person who married Samuel Darte of Bolton; and she joined the Congregational Church at Bolton 28 Apr. 1765, coming from East Hartford. She married thirdly, 21 Feb., 1772, John Gibbs."
